Fire:
Please would you read the Fire Notices and be aware of
the exit signs.
*At night in an emergency, please ring the bell in reception for attention
Keys:
Please leave your room key on the notice board in
reception, when your room is un occupied or on vacating
the room.
Front door keys are available, up on request, to people
requiring them.
Early
Morning:
Early morning calls, daily papers.
Please order as soon as possible.
Breakfasts:
Full English breakfast is served at 8:00 – 8:45.
Please let us know if you do not require it at all, or if you have any special requirements.

Tours
and Excursions:
There are some recommended tours (details in reception),
bookable through Lynne. If we can help you
with any points of interest, travel directions, eating
out restaurants, pubs etc. Please ask!
*Maps of York available in reception, free.
Flasks:
These can be filled with hot water (free of charge) Tea
of coffee (a small charge will be made).
Car
Park:
Please try to park as wisely in our car park as
possible, bearing in mind the gates are closed and
locked every night, and that a number of cars have to
fit in.
*Please note cars are left at owners own risk
Doctors:
If
you require a doctor of hospital services please see
Lynne.
Laundry:
Normally we can launder clothes (not ironed) for a small
charge.
The
nearest laundrette is situated on Boroughbridge Road
WIFI:
WIFI is available via a security code (from Lynne) on a daily timed basis.
Buses
and Taxis:
Taxis can be ordered through Lynne.
The
nearest bus stop is opposite the green (No2 via
railway museum to station and town centre).
